the sense of being.
august will start, tomorrow.
i think it's powerful to be able to gain control over your life and decide how stuff go. today and yesterday, my first two days of official august, were spent thinking upon wikipedia and how i can really wrap all the knowledge in my own ways.
it's important to think of how to do something before actually doing it, in order to save time and effort. knowledge lights me up in inexplicable ways, and my mind won't be pleased before i can explain how to classify it.
i failed, by trying to control everything i learn, by making it seems selectively picked. in such a way, all the excitement in the making of randomness was gone, and i'm left with nothing but raw knowledge ready to digest. i know that less is more, and by being nothing we become everything, however, so great was the temptation to know everything that i faced multiple problems when i tried to make sense of it.
everything can be understood further by asking why and how, however, the further we dig down to, we face a boundary of accepting things for being the way they will and have always been. without further ado, i decided that things are either science or non science.
when we take concepts that are familiar to us, things we would be able to recognize physically and mentally in a matter of seconds and try to define it, in the simplest way we could, we unveil a whole new world within. science is basically matters that are always right, since the start till the end of time. anything else that isn't science are forms of expression. science has always been science since whenever and wherever. culture is what make us us, fragile yet beautiful, and surely convey lots more than science has to say, or prove.
however, it's undeniable that this two elements of human can't exist without having each other. they're complementary in complex ways. culture itself can't survive if people prayed instead of working on therapies and acutal knowledge about what the fuck is going on. science alone can't flourish if we don't have the language to connect and understand one another. it's like an invisible force has wired this two together to create something really human, yet powerful.
we are similar, in such ways, and we are different, in such ways. let what you have in common with others be the general science and really focus on developing the culture. seeing things by proving and analyzing is beautiful, as much as it is by accepting things without further questioning. the art stays in balancing the two forces.
really try to see yourself as a whole world, now. a seed capable of sprouting into one, two, hundreds, thousands, infifnite possibilities. what would you choose to become, today?
