Out of boredom, I envy the green man

In moments of light-soaked joys I cry, and in bad times I smile,

In my afterlife, I wish not to be born human

But a pine tree standing firmly amongst earth and sky, ringing his cones

Amidst the firmament and the craggy cliffs

Bearing the frost all the way to the mountaintop
